After completing he's studing in graphic design Alexander Meier spent many years as a freelance art director at various agencies. Since 2000, he has worked as a director, writer and editor. He directed several short films inclouding the award-winning short film CHYENNE (Golden Pardino Locarno, Switzerland and Zuerich Film Award). CHYENNE was shown worldwide over hundred film festivals.

Since 2002 Alexander Meier is a professor of film at the F+F, school for art and media design. In 2003 he founded the production company meierproduction and has since than directed and produced many commercials for international companies and nonprofit organizations.
